You know what? We haven’t really been out very much besides going to Jamaica ready to go.

And, it was certainly great to get our feet wet and get in there and have fun again. Yeah, because the what are we in April, middle of April going on middle of April. And we have been at Hayden is January, February, March and we’re going back next week. So it’s kind of a nice change to get to a local place.

And I think that we’ve actually probably found a home. We did find a home. Now we have band, vibe one other time, and it was probably about six years ago, maybe five, five and a half years ago when we first started with Tom’s trips. We went to a Halloween party at vibe, and we we were kind of busy the whole time.

So we we enjoyed ourselves, but not like this weekend. Right now. We did have a lot of help. Yeah. My goodness. They really, pretty much held her hand and introduced us to everybody that they knew and so it was really, really good. My kidneys have been hosting for Tom’s trips for 14 years. long before we started.

And they go to Trapeze Atlanta and they go to five parties. So they also go to, a couple other ones. But those are the two that they’re most well known. and believe me, they have a great presence, vibe. Everybody who is anybody who wasn’t anybody who was somebody they all knew Mike and Andy, he’s and Mike and and he’s personally brought them and introduced us.

And that made our jobs a lot easier. Well, and the gist of it made the fact of getting to meet people a lot easier to it’s always great when you have somebody that kind of helps you out a little bit. See, I say right a lot. You do literally, literally. So, no. now vibe had a new location. They did have a new location. Now, that ironic part is when me and buddy were transporting RVs for a while when Covid hit, and we had nothing better to do except try to make money, we would stay at the hotel that vibe was hosting at, and we always thought while we were staying there, it wasn’t a lot of people at the hotel.

No, no, it’s an older hotel, but it’s big. It’s huge. And we thought, man, what a great place to have a lifestyle event at. And and you know, I mentioned that to and to the owners of vibe. I don’t know if I can mention their names, but I did mention that to them. And she’s like, you know, we’ve been trying to get this location for over seven years.

Yeah. And Friday night started off with spring break and Saturday night was blow in two. Totally different two totally different vibes. Yes. You like I threw that in there. And they had two different deejays, one on Friday and one on Saturday. So the music kind of correlated with each one. Yeah. So going with the spring break or now, me, I’m finding we like more of the top 40 music and music that you hear on the radio or that you can bump around to Friday night.

The deejay had the dance floor packed and he was playing all those cool songs that we used to play at our club, right. It was kind of like a big mix of what we used to play. And yeah, it was like threw about a lot back, a lot of memories. Yeah. He, he was a phenomenal DJ. We we were really, really, really impressed.

And just the dance for never quit. And then, the spring break party, everyone was kind of just wearing it was they said dress like you would if you were on spring break. So you had people in shorts and bikini thongs. So what? so it was very, very simple and easy to wear. I what did I wear?

Oh, I have a little white outfit that I usually wear to Hedo. And I actually pulled that one out and wore it. Oh, yeah. It’s, Victoria’s Secret. It’s like, it’s a it’s actually a bathing suit cover, but but it, you know, she looks naked, right? So. And she was bathing. I am naked under it. Yeah. You weren’t wearing a bathing suit under it, so,

No. Then there was a lot of people that that are regulars there, and they all had their, airbrushed t shirts. Yeah. 20, 20 from those people. And they kept coming over. So that was really cool because I kept saying, yeah, you must all went to the same airbrush. But no, I was very, very impressed. not only by the way, the parties are ran by the size of it, but just the people were just really super nice.

They were really, really, really nice. They were very young. yeah, a lot more younger than us. But they still talk to us old people. They did. Maybe they didn’t think that we are so old. Hopefully. Ubers. Ubers are, in abundance. they’re they’re we went to, restaurant for, brunch, on Saturday. On Saturday. And there was a restaurant in the parking lot. Exactly. Not. So, yeah. there’s a Walmart right across the street that pretty much everything you need, you can almost walk to if you really want to. We went to Walmart, and next we ended up walking back. Yeah. But no. And then let’s talk about Saturday night because Saturday night glow parties are always my talk about Saturday day.

Oh yes, Saturday day and all the pool party that they did and all the activities. Yes. So our, miss no swimsuit contest that she took second place. they, her and her husband hosted a pool party from one to. It was only supposed to be a couple hours, but I heard it went till 6:00 at night and the party started at 8:00 at night.

So the party got a little started a little later. So. Yeah. No, I know that they did a wet t shirt contest. I believe they did a wet underwear contest, a wet underwear contest. Hey, I let the guys get out there and oh, it was guys. Oh, the girls never came. No. Just kidding. it was packed. It was very packed.

Yes, it was very packed. but, no, they did an amazing job doing their their games and getting people involved. Yeah. So. But I did see a couple on the wet t T-shirt. Some of the people are like, just like, here, here’s your shirt. Okay, okay. But that’s what happens when you’re friends. Yeah. You kind of get the ball and hold volunteers for I don’t know if they got Volun told.

I was just watching from a distance, but it was it was fun to watch. Definitely for sure. If you’re wondering why buddy keeps looking at me, if you’re watching on YouTube, it’s because I’m technically deaf, so I have to see people. But since he’s this close, I can actually hear her. So yeah, and typically when I talk to Tom, I’m always looking at his face so he can read my lips.

She likes my pretty face. I do, I do. He’s very handsome. But no, no, I want to talk about Saturday night because Glow Party is my absolute favorite. No matter where we go. Glow party is by far Bunnys ultimate favorite theme. it’s easy to dress to. The music is always pumping, so yeah, it’s more upbeat. Techno is.

So now that DJ on Saturday night came in and he played all of the hottest house in dance music that you can imagine. Yeah, he had that place bumpin. Yeah, he was actually he was a really great deejay. I was going to say good DJ. He. No, he was really a great deejay. Both days were awesome. And they both cater to two different types of genre and we we couldn’t have been more happier.

no. And don’t forget, you know, they come in there and they take a hotel lobby area. That’s nothing. It’s a blank canvas is a blank canvas. And they make it into a nightclub for one weekend. And the glow stuff around it, they put up the black walls with yellow glow paint on them. And heck, just a DJ upstairs.

what would it be called? I don’t even there. They had a shadow box up there. They had a dance pull up there down below. They had two dance poles. Then they had the big area that looked like a rock concert with all the lighting and their huge truss sister truss system, their dance floor didn’t. They had a cage.

Not only was the dance floor like tiles that were stuck together, they were nice and soft. Yeah. So when you were out there dancing, it wasn’t like you were trying to, like, dance on a hard floor and slip everywhere. It was really right. It worked out perfectly well. But I will have to say that that was probably by far the most black lights that I have ever seen at a Glow party, and that’s what makes it Glow party success.

Everybody was glowing. Yes. Even if you wore a pale colors you were still glowing. No. There were some some awesome outfits. Now I tell you what I was sitting back watching and I was just kind of cracking up and laughing because watching the the crowd was reminded me so much of way back in our day when we would go to the lifestyle convention in Las Vegas.

Yeah. Oh yeah, we were about that age and man, we were up at like, well, we’re up about 11:00 in the morning and we were going until about nine in the morning. Right. And that’s what they were doing. They start over again. No. You know what though? What we didn’t see because unfortunately, we went did go a little bit, a little bit early on Saturday night.

They had an after hours party too. So up on that area where they had their I saw a DJ, they had a full DJ system up there. So when the party was done over here, the after hours party took off. Okay. Yeah. Mike was saying they’ll go till six in the morning. And we’re a little beyond that now.

But people always ask us, age demographics and I will say that the general age was a younger crowd, probably in their mid late 30 to 40 ish. So maybe I’m thinking a little younger. Well, no, I’m just talking in the media in the meat and potatoes. Yes. very a lot of people were very physically fit and but they were arrogant, physically fit.

They were having a great time. beautiful people. There were people of all shapes and sizes, but the majority seemed to fit, physically fit crowd. So that’s the type of party you’re looking for. That is the place to go to. But you know what? There was like Tom said, I was, far from physically fit. There was a whole mix of all kinds of different people.

So if you’re looking, there’s something for everybody. Yeah. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. we like I said we just get asked because there are people that want to go to more of a fluffy club and some people want to go to a very young club, some people want to go to a physically fit. And there’s nothing wrong with any of those, and there’s nothing wrong with any of the clubs wanting to run a certain way.

No, I mean, we want to put that out there, our club that we used to run, we cater to everybody. And there were clubs a couple miles from us that cater to under 30, physically fit. you have to have a wallet to prove your worthiness. we never agreed with that back then. we still personally don’t.

But like I say it, it’s, Well, I mean, but we can’t now because we’re working on that. But no, the the five party was just. It was a fun experience for everybody. Let’s put it this way. They’re such a friendly group that not only, you know, we know quite a few of them from our midst. No swimsuit contest in Jamaica, right?

And one of our other contestants from trapeze was there, so they came in from Atlanta. Yeah. there was a couple there that came to miss no swimsuit and didn’t know anybody. They kind of got adopted by the vibe Tribe when we were in Jamaica. And they flew all the way in from Salt Lake City, Utah. Yes. And then I did see on Facebook that there was somebody else that came in from Houston.

Did you see the map? There are people from California. They what they do is they took a map of the United States, and here we are, Tennessee. And they, colored in all the states in blue, not being political, but who came to the white Party this last week? I didn’t see that. Oh, yeah. See, that’s pretty cool.

Yeah, it’s actually kind of cool that they were listing where everyone came from, but it was an amazing party. And we’re definitely going to be back for sure. Yeah. Now, vibe was talking to us. They used to do parties once a month and they would put out, tickets are for sale. Can’t you? Not as fast as Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift and all them big name artists.

They would sell out in under ten minutes. I mean, whole entire hotels, people were sitting there like Ticketmaster and I like click, click and even overflows. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We had Stand the Overflow the first time because we couldn’t even get into the Right. The main hotel. Yes. You want to stay in the main hotel because you don’t want to have to leave to go to another hotel.

And most likely people aren’t going to leave with you to go to another hotel. No. So you want to have a room at the host hotel. So that way you could take your private party and go have some fun privately, then go back to the main party. Now they do have a playroom there. their playroom had a bondage area, had a lot of beds and a lot of apparatuses.

Right. But you also got to understand that every state is different on what they can allow in their playroom. So so everything is a little bit different in each state. If you go to a different hotel party. Yes. but you know, sometimes in the hotel parties, people will take people to their rooms because of more accessibility right there.

Oh, yeah. It’s a lot more convenient. A lot more convenient. And you got a shower? Yeah. And the best way house. The best way to get somebody in your room. Hey, you guys, one shot. Come on over. I. That’s what you used to say. Of course, of course. Now that we got you here. So now vibe does their party every couple months, and, they were telling us that they were seeing a trend that when they were having a party, that people were booking so fast that the, the trend was that they were spending too much money.

They were obviously there about making money, but they started doing their parties a little farther apart so people could recoup because by the time you pay for the party, the hotel, the travel, the food and everything, it can add up pretty fast. We took mama with us. We we did. I don’t think she’ll be going to the next one. So yeah, it was it was a little too uncomfortable for her in the house. Yeah. He’s a mathematical genius, and he is looking at all the associated costs and everything, and he just didn’t feel comfortable knowing that people were probably spending their last few dollars. But, you know, I honestly think too, when, when you have them every month, then it kind of gets mundane and it gets to be the same thing in the same people.

But I think when you have them only, you know, five or 6 or 7 a year, then it gets more excitement. You get more. I think so too. Too. I think so too. because when it’s every single month we were at a club for 20 years, we were open five nights a week. Now, the, the first weekend, if you want to know our kind of our schedule right now, first weekend of May, we’re going to be in Las Vegas for the buy out. And it’s a bi event and it’s for bi couples. And singles. And we’re going to be there representing Tom’s trips because Tom’s trip’s host, the only bye week and, hedonism and Jamaica, this year we’re on in April and the event’s not till October 5th.

It’s not. It’s an upscale night. It’s totally upscale. Oh, nice. so we’re going to be there, I believe it is the first weekend in August, and that is for their Taste of Hilo weekend.

And, we’ll be in Pigeon Forge, but it’s Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. And last year, 20,000 jeeps signed up. 50,000 showed up. so buddy has our hotel already.

Right? So we just finished up the last video. We’re talking about nonsense about pool games. Yeah. So that was four old fat guys with hot chicks. Then come week two is our annual Miss No Swimsuit, which is Tom’s trip’s staple event of the year. It’s our flagship event. It’s bingo. This was our 24th annual. Now, me and Bonnie, I’ve only been with Tom’s trips for six and a half years, and so, no, we don’t own the company.

But this was our 13th trip. What? Tom’s? Yes. We’ve been traveling with them for 12 years, starting here. So. So, no, for us, in one of the things that you’ll find if you haven’t already gone to hedonism or traveled with the group, one of the things that you’ll find is people tend to go back at the same time every year because they’ve met friends or they’ve made connections and they always want to go back at the same time so they can continue to grow those friendships and make make new.

Yes. Case in point, last one of last year’s contestants, she came in third. She just they just recently got married this summer and a big group from the corral went to her wedding or their wedding. And they’ve all become such good friends now they go to the corral a lot. So now they continue to go back and forth between New York and Slovenia.

Yes, I talk with my hands, but I mean, that’s just a vacation point. I keep saying how fly by my face. And yes, I’ve hit him in the face before. I actually have, because I kind of lean forward. Yeah, you can’t do that. I look at my shirts all I try to go, I need my gear. So I need to be able to do that stuff you don’t want.

No. So for us, men’s not swimsuit is a fantastic time because we get to see all kinds of friends that we only see once a year now and in the past we just have a lot of staff at Mr. Swimsuit and the last year we didn’t have as much staff, so we all the staff that we had worked our butts off from eight in the morning until midnight, one in the morning every single day.

And when I say work our butts off, it’s just we’re not working solid. But we can’t get drunk. No. And be at another event and be coherent. So it is working this time. We actually had an extra entertainment couple. Yeah. We also had another host couple and that host couple. I mean, the entertainers we had Mark Mays. Yes.

And Terry, his wife. Yes. And then we had Beth and Kyle. I don’t know if I could say their name, but I guess we can. But we did. And it was great because Mark sings, plays guitar. He has a foot drum set, so he is a one man band, but he also has a band in Michigan and he does solo stuff.

There are two Kyle plays saxophone and he sings, my God, he’s a mark and Kyle are both phenomenal singers. And then Beth is just so adorably cute and she’s she helps with me and Barney as a host couple when it’s just the four of us. Now, One of the one of the cool things, though, this year is Tom actually had two other women help him.

We do at this particular event too, because it’s our men’s no swimsuit. We do a lot of photos. Tom is a photographer. No, he’s not a professional. He just knows how to use a camera in automatic mode. No, I know how to do lighting. Yes. I mean, look at our lights here. So what he would do is he had Beth.

Beth and she and Jenny, they were his lighting girls. So previous years, we never wanted to interrupt the show for the people, but we also gained zero promotion out of it. So the photos in the past, I mean, while good, weren’t as good as I thought they could be, because when they’re on the stage, it’s really dark. And dark creates a very grainy photo and it doesn’t look as appealing.

So after some discussions, I was able to have Beth and Jenny whenever our person that we want to take a picture of would come out, we would be front stage. And the second they would come out, they would turn on the LED lights. I would shoot a few pictures. They would turn off the LED lights and we would all walk away.

Yeah, worked out that way. We didn’t block the audio. No. And it worked out absolutely perfect. And we’re going to be posting our no swimsuit icon just give me a couple of weeks and we’ll be posting a lot of the pictures on there because we actually have good pictures this year. I couldn’t I couldn’t do it for Tom because I have an attention span about this big and I’d be holding the light and I’d be like, squirrel.

Yes, she would. She would. But also Bunny gets called away. And I do. Yeah. So we’re always we’re always within sight of each other, but we’re always doing something different at that event. Exactly. So I do the photography and I’m a liaison between Times trips and a lot of the clubs managers are owners, correct? So that way we can hopefully fulfill their needs while we’re at Jamaica.

Right. And hopefully in the next several months we’ll be able to get our needs fulfilled after after surgery again. Well, we’re waiting on that. I, like the doctor said before, there’s no way they can deny it because it’s in my body. But they already did at first denial, which they denied Bunny on an MRI. So the doctor wrote a two page letter on the medical necessity of me having the surgery, and they have 30 days to review and they’re going to wait for every into the 30 days.

So we’re not very hopeful right this second as far as insurance goes. And, you know, I want to reiterate to that because, you know, not only, you know, are we a travel agents within the pineapple world, but we are pineapple people, too. Yes. You don’t stay together this long without respecting each other and feeling like when a part of each other, when one is going through something, the other, unfortunately, yes, goes through it, too.

And you know what? More power to them. We know couples that have been together as long as us that live that way. Because if you travel with us, then you get to vote on who’s going to be the winner. So it for me, the biggest thing is to watch when they first come in how shy they are. But as she was watching Megan, she started coming out of her shell and doing cute hats. And when I say cute, I don’t mean childish. I mean just just really cool pictures. Having fun with the camera, right?

I know everyone has their camera phones and they were posting, but hopefully some of mine with my lighting might be something that they want to share. Yeah. Now we went to that Glow party on Tuesday. We we went to take pictures of our contestants and put the camera away. We were there for an hour and a half taking pictures of our contestants, guest friends, all kinds of people.

So I had a handle that you could hold it with. And I had two tripods. And here’s Bunny walking away with the light right? But no, it’s just such an amazing time. And we didn’t go on the catamaran. We stayed back and got some work done. And then we went on a pub crawl. Not on all. We got canceled.

Got canceled because we got it canceled for any nefarious reason. We just only had three people signed up and it’s a lot of expense. So we had a Thursday pub crawl, so the Tuesday one got canceled and we asked anyone that was going on Tuesday to just move over to Thursday. And so but everyone wants to go on the catamaran.

the play this catamarans hedonism was dead, but it was nice for us. Well, while the catamarans were out, it was like quiet, but it gave us time because we had Mark in for the contestants and all of their group on one. And then we had Kyle in for contestants and all of their groups. Yes, on the other and then any other guests that didn’t come with one of the groups, they could pick what boat they wanted.

You know, forget what cream was, a flying remotes. That’s a flying. And boy, let me tell you, I don’t think any and I don’t think anybody remember sunblock. No, they came back with red. Came back so red. But yeah, if you have a food fetish that was the the boats to be on because they were eating whipped cream off of everything.

Everything, everything. It’s not even lifted off the pole probably, but from what everybody was telling me, it was the best catamaran they’d ever been on. Well, I don’t doubt it. Yeah. Eight contestants, beautiful contestants. And for on each boat and everyone’s a judge. And those contestants are vying for those votes from those people. And I know Beth told me that she went around and grabbed gathered all of the girls and put them on the front of the boat so they could all dance.

And then everybody else joined them. Yes. So, yeah, it’s it was a really good time. But like I said, we we stayed behind, got some work done, and then we got to check out one of our newer deejays that. yeah, came on. Yeah. He deejay Bad Boy. What is it? What’s his name? Scott. Scott. Yeah, he he actually contacted us and wanted to try out or wanted to see if we’d be interested in deejay.

And I said, Well, our bosses are going to be at this event in October, and you’re welcome to come. But if you email them, we get emails from 30 deejays a year or more. And while they might be great, we don’t we don’t know just based off of email. So I said, why don’t you come talk to them in person?

Maybe they’ll put you up for whatever reason. He didn’t deejay in October. No, no. So he came back out for no swimsuit and they actually put him in a new poll from 2 to 4, which is the prime time. my gosh. Professor Woo, He was he’s fun. He’s a qualified investor. So he’s well-spoken, articulate. He sings karaoke. And when I heard him sing a couple of years ago, I was really taken aback. This guy’s good. So he’s deejaying the pool parties, he’s helping with the pool games. He had never done this before. This a first time.

He had seen it but never done it. He’s singing in the DJ booth, so people are actually thinking it’s music. Then he comes out on the pool deck singing, and he did a great job playing music. And he did Flashdance and he did Flashdance where they dumped the bucket of water on him while he is on a chair.

And he’s not a small guy, so he is part of the old fat guys. But yeah, no, everybody did. Amazing. Yes. And Scott will be back with this, I believe. I can’t remember when he’s coming back. I think he’s actually going going to be there for Thanksgiving. Wow. Nice. So you got a job? Yeah, because we don’t actually hire I mean, we can refer and we can recommend, but we don’t actually do the hiring.

So we’re just employees that we are. But other than that, well, Party is one of Buddy’s favorites. But again, no swimsuit. we set up a 360 photo booth, but it was raining. Yeah. And we impromptu we had a party down at the parade. Paul and Mark was playing video music, so we set the 360 photo booth and we did like 26 or 27 videos because no one really knew what was down there.

We just at the very last minute, within like 30 minutes before we said we can do it here. You know, I think had we been able to set up for it during Glo party, we would have beat our record on how many people we’ve done videos of. But the fact that it’s 51 hour, we only set it up for one hour.

But the fact is, is it had poured and poured and the crowd was we were afraid people would get up and slip on that. Yeah, it’s not a very big platform really. And the reason why we only do it for one hour is because hedonism is all inclusive. Not only do you get all the food at all the restaurants and the grills, it’s all inclusive with alcohol and people are enjoying the stage show.

And we do the booth from 10 to 11 because after the stage show ends, people start hitting that bar and we realized drunk people why we want to cater to everyone. There are limits to how much you can do, how much I can take when someone I got online, a piece you can take, Well, we’ve got a line of people.

And in a when people have been drinking, they’re not kind of not at their level. Very true. So, I mean, it’s not an upset thing. It’s just that we want to make sure everyone’s safe and we want to make sure our work is safe. So we tear it down. And then that way, me and Bonnie can enjoy the party.

Yeah, cause that it said, that’s my favorite, right? And so, no, it’s definitely a lot of fun. We have fun taking videos, but eventually when my back starts feeling better, I’ll be the fool out there dancing. When they play Sandstorm by Druid anything techno because that’s all I can dance to because I don’t have any rhythm. Now, the one thing was I got to relax in the morning because Bonnie had to go to rehearsals every morning at 930 now ten, 930 the first day.

So I got to just chill in the air conditioned room and yes, and our air conditioning actually worked this time. Yeah, it was cold. And what they do is they’ll do a final video of the performance and then they send me the video and I put it up on YouTube, but it’s not open to the public and I share it to just the girls so they can keep watching it.

So that and I’ll tell you what, this year, because we did that and those videos were viewed quite a bit. Yeah, the performance this year was really good. Yeah. Yeah. What are you talking about? Because you could tell. Right, right. Cause day number two, let’s see here. The first rehearsal was on Monday, right? Then they do the catamaran. They came back on Wednesday. Winston was late coming to rehearsal, so we started without them. They already had it all down. Good. Completely down. So, yeah, the girls on no swimsuit do a rehearsal every day because on Friday night, even though all the votes have been cast and everything and we’re going to announce a winner by what, 830 and 8:00, they start the stage show.

And then the girls come out and do that stage show and then we then they come out and they do the question, Yeah, they come out, do a nude question, and then they all line up.
